Connect Google Meet
About 5 minutes · Done by: A Google Workspace super admin
Before you start: Meeting recording must be turned on in Google Meet for your organization, and the people you want analyzed must record their meetings. Recordings are saved to Google Drive, which is where CaseRescue reads them.
01
Start the connection in CaseRescue
- Go to app.caserescue.ai and log in as an admin
- Open Settings, then Integrations
- Find the Google Meet card and click Connect Google Meet
- The card expands with three steps, a Client ID, and a list of OAuth scopes. Keep this tab open.
02
Authorize CaseRescue in the Google Admin Console
- Click Open Google Admin Console on the card. It opens the Domain-wide delegation page (Security, then Access and data control, then API controls, then Manage Domain Wide Delegation).
- Click Add new
- Back in CaseRescue, click the copy button next to Client ID and paste it into the Client ID field
- Click the copy button next to OAuth scopes and paste the full list into the OAuth scopes field
- Click Authorize
Only a Google Workspace super admin can open this page. If you were connected before July 2026, edit the existing CaseRescue entry and replace its scope list with the full one shown on the card, then Authorize again.
03
Finish in CaseRescue
- Enter the email address of a Workspace admin in your Google organization
- Click Connect. The card shows Connected with your domain.
The grant is one time for the whole organization. Individual users never have to approve anything.
04
Choose who to monitor
- Click Monitor Users on the Google Meet card
- Check the people whose meetings should be analyzed, then click Save Selections
- Only recorded meetings from monitored users are transcribed and scored
Done! CaseRescue now picks up every new Google Meet recording from your monitored users and analyzes it like a call from any other phone system.
Good to know
- CaseRescue reads recordings from Google Drive. It never changes, moves, or deletes anything in your Google Workspace.
- The calendar scopes let CaseRescue see availability and book meetings on behalf of your team when you use scheduling features.
- Meetings in Spanish are transcribed and analyzed automatically.
- Disconnecting in CaseRescue removes the configuration on our side. You can also remove the entry in the Google Admin Console at any time.
Troubleshooting
Connect fails after I authorized in Google
Make sure every scope on the card was pasted, comma separated, with nothing missing. Then confirm the admin email you entered belongs to the same Google Workspace domain.
A meeting is not showing up
Check that the host is selected under Monitor Users and that the meeting was actually recorded. Meetings that were not recorded cannot be analyzed.
Recordings are on but nothing arrives
The recording must finish saving to Google Drive first. Long meetings can take a while to process on Google's side before CaseRescue can read them.
