Connect Slack
About 2 minutes, plus accepting the invite · Done by: A CaseRescue admin, and your Slack workspace admin to accept the invite
01
Request the shared channel
- Go to app.caserescue.ai and log in as an admin
- Open Settings, then Integrations, and find the Slack card
- Click Connect
- Enter your Slack admin's email and, if you like, a channel name (for example cr-your-firm)
- Click Connect
CaseRescue creates a private channel in the CaseRescue Slack workspace and sends a Slack Connect invite to the email you entered. The card shows Invite sent, pending accept.
02
Accept the invite in Slack
- Your Slack admin receives the Slack Connect invitation by email and inside Slack
- Open it and click Accept. Choose the Slack workspace the channel should live in.
- Slack may ask an admin to approve Slack Connect for your workspace the first time
03
Confirm the connection
- Back in CaseRescue, the Slack card shows Connected with the channel name
- Invite anyone on your team who should see CaseRescue updates into that channel
Done! Your firm now has a shared Slack channel with CaseRescue. Urgent alerts and daily digests land there, in your own Slack workspace.
Good to know
- The channel is a Slack Connect channel: it lives in both workspaces. CaseRescue can only see that channel, never the rest of your Slack.
- Only people you invite into the channel can see it.
- You can reuse the same channel for every CaseRescue workspace your firm manages.
Troubleshooting
The invite never arrived
Check spam for an email from Slack. On the CaseRescue Slack card, click Resend invite. If it fails again, confirm the email is an active Slack user in your workspace.
The card says Channel ready, invite failed
Slack rejected the invite, usually because Slack Connect is disabled for your workspace. Ask your Slack owner to allow Slack Connect, then click Resend invite.
I accepted but CaseRescue still shows pending
Refresh the page. It can take a minute for Slack to confirm the shared channel.
